1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clippie ("the Service"), operated at clippie.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Clippie is an AI-powered platform that generates short-form videos from text prompts. The Service includes script generation, text-to-speech, video rendering, and hosting of generated content.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you create using Clippie. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and deliver your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Background videos used in generated content are sourced from stock footage and are licensed for use within Clippie-generated videos.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Generate spam, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service to generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Clippie offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the recurring charges.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

7. Free Tier Limitations

Free accounts are limited to 3 videos per month. Free-tier videos may include a Clippie watermark. Video limits reset on the 1st of each month.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Clippie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
